A healthy and happy school involves good teamwork between parents, teacher, governors, staff, local community – and of course the children. All those groups are important in ensuring a safe environment in which your children can grow. So we would encourage you to get to know the different way in which parents can get involved, get to know who the governors are and what they do, and take the chance to make sure the school gets to know you.
The home – school agreement puts in writing this intention of well-informed and constructive partnership between home and school. I know that I speak for all involved in the school, both those who do the day to day task inside the building and those who role is management and policy – that we are determined to do everything we can to make your child’s time at St. James a positive experience. We look forward to working with you to make that happen.
