What do you do?
I teach different classes so that other teachers can have important meetings or go away on courses.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
Seeing children learn to do something they couldn’t do before.
What do you enjoy the least about your job?
Seeing children being unkind to other children, which doesn’t happen very often.
Do you ever have to come back to school at night?
Only occasionally if the children I know are performing in a play or a concert.
Tell us about your family.
I have a wife, three grown-up daughters, and two granddaughters aged five and four.
What is your favourite food?
Cheese, fruit and fish.
Where is your favourite place?
In Wales. It is a beautiful valley near the sea with a wonderful beach and lovely cliff walks with lots of seabirds.
How would you like to be remembered?
As a teacher that children enjoyed being with.
